Current Affairs Not Being Covered Adequately

Political leaders on both sides are jostling, speaking out, trying anything to get their name out in this preseason of election year 04. the biggest problem that I have is that none of them, on either side, are speaking againts any possible war with Iraq, which is not acceptible. why are there pattitudes and placations being made on this issue, while its the only issue being discussed, yet no other issue is even on the horizon. even when Bushy speaks out agains affirmative inaction in Michigan, little worth is given to it as political leaders talk up war matters, or sit idly by. why? what is wrong with the majority of people in N america? there are way more important things out there at this very moment. we need to hit 'them' back, get 'those people'. etc etc. no one knows who our government should focus on, except citizens of M eastern background, war war war, and nothing that the weapons inspectors do, say, find, same with Iraq, is going to change the outcome. N Korea is a delicate situation that can and should be handled with care and diplomacy. why cant Iraq?

Ok. A new blog but similar discussions, which center around current affairs that are clearly not being discussed or blatantly ingnored for various reasons. I am a double major in political science and sociology, with one semester to go. My interests are many, but include movies, politics, social issues, policy decisions, globalization, social movements, welfare de-form, as my professor would say, and bringing out into the open issues that the current administration are not answering or are very shady on. Oh yeah, and if America goes to war against ANYONE and ANY country, they should declare war on ourselves and begin the anti-dissedent plan that Bushy is chomping at the bit to enact, oh wait again, he ALREADY has!!
